You’ll need to have a new vendor come in and assess the situation and recommend a new course of action. Here are some keys to look for in a new ERP partner:

  • Track record, testimonials, and experience of the vendor.
  • Level of support offered directly by the vendor.
  • The amount of time the vendor spends scoping your business needs, relative to the application.
  • Documented support policies.
  • Clearly stated pricing information regarding licenses, usage, etc.
  • Accessibility of your data.
  • A partner who is more interested in getting it done right than getting it done quickly.

A great ERP experience always involves a great partner. Look closely at the partner first and the product, second. Your experience will be much better the second time around.
